The concept of love has always been important to humanity since the dawn of time, although the idea has changed through the years. In today's culture, people tend to use a variety of labels to describe their personal experiences with love: passion, devotion, commitment, trust, tenderness, honesty, forgiveness, concern, understanding, acceptance, intimacy, emotional connection, bonding, commitment, belonging, and spiritual vitality.
