In addition, climate change has an impact on the movement of ocean currents. These currents play an important role in distributing heat, nutrients and organisms throughout the ocean. Changes in flow patterns can disrupt sustainable ecosystems and affect the quality of fisheries, which are a source of income for millions of people around the world. The influence of global warming on marine life is not only limited to ecosystems. This also has implications for human health and global food security. Reducing marine biodiversity can affect protein sources for marine-dependent populations.
