What Is Love?

love

A person’s love life begins with the feelings of attraction. Those feelings are called infatuation. Infatuation often begins early in a relationship and may grow into love. Passionate love is marked by intense feelings of longing, idealization, and a desire for physical closeness. Compassionate love, on the other hand, is characterized by feelings of trust, affection, and commitment. This is the most common form of love.

In the simplest of terms, love is a feeling of deep affection for another person. It is the opposite of hate and is one of the most intense emotions of human existence. People who feel love will go to great lengths to make the person they love happy. Love can be a strong, overwhelming desire that a person can’t live without. If you want to know what love is, you should learn to experience it. Love is a feeling that’s deeply felt and never goes away.

Love is an action we express for someone. In the same way as we feel love for a person, we feel love for a thing. A person’s love is a strong emotion that can be experienced in many different ways. Love can be fleeting or lasting. There is no definitive definition of love, but psychologists disagree on the definition of love. For one, evolutionary biologists say love is an emotion and that it should be shown differently in our body than other emotions.

When a person feels in love, they are naturally attracted to each other. The two may want to hold hands and make out on the couch. But if they dislike the other person or find them repulsive, they are not in love. During a love-making process, things you normally wouldn’t have done before become new and exciting. You may even watch a sports game together to cheer for your favorite team. Whatever the case may be, love is a powerful emotion that’s found in every part of the world.

Loving someone is based on more than just physical attraction. True love is based on trust and a relationship that lasts for life. A person is a better person when they feel more affection for a person than they feel for someone else. However, love and lust are not the same thing. Lust may be attractive, but love is a stronger emotion. So, while it is difficult to find the right person for a long-term relationship, it is important to choose a person you can share a life with.

The classic Greek accounts of love describe various forms of emotion. Agape, the most universal form of love, is an altruistic emotion. Ludus, on the other hand, is playful affection. While pragma refers to a relationship that has been established for years, storge is a loyal attachment between siblings. Mania, meanwhile, is an obsession fueled by sexual passion. If you are experiencing agape or ludus, you may be in love.
